Special NSU Buses Vilnius – Druskininkai

Dear participant of the Nordic Summer University Summer Session 2015, we are trying to make your journey from Vilnius to Druskininkai comfortable, and for those who arrive to Vilnius late in the evening of the 18th of July we would like to offer a special bus, due to the reason that there is no transportation between Vilnius and Druskininkai after 20:30 or 8:30 pm local time. A timetable of the available regular transportation can be found here.

  • A midnight NSU bus will depart at 24:00 or 12:00 midnight from Vilnius airport with the se
cond stop at Aušros Vartų (Old Town near the bus station).
  • Another option is a second NSU bus on the 18th of June from Vilnius airport with second stop at Aušros Vartų (Old Town near the bus station) at 15:00 or 3 pm local time. It should arrive at Druskininkai before 18:00 or 6 pm (dinner time).

Please, register your preference here before the 1st of July. It is essential for you to register, and for us to know the number of seats and interest in the alternative transports in time.

  • On the 25th of July we offer NSU buses at 02:00 or 2 am to be in Vilnius airport at around 04:30 or 4:30 am, or a bus departing at 09:00 or 9 am local time from Druskininkai.

For those who travel to Kaunas airport, please, mention your arrival and departure time in the additional information instead, and we could see whether special buses are needed.
